Where the world comes to meet!

Michael Jackson has passed on and is probably in a much better place, free from all the leeches and those that meant him harm. Yes, Michael was different but now is not the time to talk about that. It is high time we remember the man for being the greatest entertainer this planet has ever witnessed. In addition to the work he has done for the motherland (Africa). He has donated millions to the people of Africa and humanity in general. He did this quietly and without fanfare.

I grew up listening to this man, and while I kind moved away from his type of music, his death has brought me back. Brought me back to my roots and where I CAME FROM. I am an unapologetic Black man from West Philadelphia. Sometimes with success we start to smell ourselves a little too much, Michael's death brings it all back home.

It truly doesn't matter what the vultures say about him, he was that guy in my mind, and again what he did for humanity I could only wish that I could come close to doing.

I will truly, truly miss this man as he moved on way too early.

This happens to be the most powerful video I ever laid eyes on.

God Bless you Brother.

I agree, no matter of the negativism, he was the baddest entertainer around. Not only that, he was a genius! He had that "GOD-given" talent that just could not be taught!

I remember having to compete with him and his brothers for the affections of the girls. The problem is I couldn't grow an afro for "shit"! My favorites are; Billie Jean, I'll be there, Who's Loving You and Smooth Criminal!

RIP Michael!

P.S. I'm digging for old vinyl I have stashed away because I know E-Bay will be paying!

Not enough is said about what he's done from a humanitarian standpoint. What stars do we have left? People like Tiger and Michael Jordan have the cash but do nothing in terms of reaching back. Michael Jackson was so much more on many different levels. For all of his eccentricities, the positive he did far outweighs them. He gets a pass in my book.
